Suggest a dependable and good music online service and MP3 player?

I am about to subscribe to a music service. Truth be told, I listen to the music more from my computer than from my MP3 player. However, I want to fill a player with music monthly and I need to know a service that offers a good selection of current tunes, is easy to use, and is dependable software. I have both an iPod and a PlaysForSure device so I'm open to suggestions--best player and best music online service. I don't prefer flash drives

I have been using MTV Urge for the past several months and have no complaints with it at all. It has what I like, and it is built into the beta WMP 11.

Yahoo! is the cheapest, but I got the impression in reading the disclosure information that they are quick to sell info for advertising - and I wasn't keen on that.

Most (RealNetworks Rhapsody, Napster (I think), Urge, and Yahoo) offer free trials - that may be the best way to find out what works best for you.
