Canon Vixia HF21: HD camcorder is a bargain?
The VIXIA HF21 is Canon's upgrade of the Canon VIXIA HF20 published in 2008. The VIXIA HF21 memory of 32 GB to 64 GB of memory or six hours of high quality images or an amazing 24 hours of low quality (But still better than the definition) standard images. If this is not enough, there is a SDHC slot available. It uses flash memory which makes the VIXIA HF21 Lightweight and compact.
Features
Because it is compact, it lacks the bells and whistles you'd expect a video camera HD upscale as a lens ring for manual configuration. Instead, this is done using a joystick button located below the LCD screen. With the joystick button and a context menu, you can access frequently used settings like turning on the video light. It is also a characteristic function call interesting Pre-Rec who anticipates his shot to start recording before they click the button record so you do not miss an important shot.
Also with the context menu, a fresh face detection, which aims to improve the quality face of a person in the video. There are, of course, manual focus and exposure control base. However, if you are upgrading from a top of high definition, which will be more than surprised by the sharpness and clarity of the video, especially when connected to a large screen HDTV.

In general, the Canon VIXIA HF21 is a high level of consumer HD camcorder. Although both an expensive consumer camcorder, the quality components and rich features in a compact body makes it a good value high-definition camcorder.

Canon VIXIA HG20 HD Video Camcorder - Does it record and display in 1080p or 1080i ?
Hi, I am planning to buy a Canon VIXIA HG20 HD Video Camcorder but I am not sure if it displays a full HD 1080p video on Hi Def TV, please advice.
Also wat wud u recommend personally - Sony HDR-SR10 40GB or Canon VIXIA HG20
It does shoot in full hd 1080p. i would recommend The Canon vixia HG20.

However, the real question is do you want more storage at a lower price or give up some storage space and extra cash for the smaller, lighter HF11. The HG20 gets my vote in that scenario."
